Many people have written to me about the Bayeux Tapestry. The questions extend from the Latin translation to embroidery. Many have enquired about the possibility of obtaining the Bayeux Tapestry in book form. Like the Roll of Battle Abbey, I have obtained a limited number of books for those historians, embroiderers and others who desire a copy but have been unable to obtain one elsewhere.

The Book is a one seventh scale open out frieze of the complete Bayeux Tapestry, containing 35 sections, and extends to an approximate length of 30 feet or 9 meters.
